STONE CROSS FARM
Patrick and Leeta Kennedy of Stone Cross Farm in Taylorsville, Kentucky, have been my farming partners for more than a decade. Their pigs and beef cattle are raised without steroids, hormones, or antibiotics. Patrick was one of the first farmers to deliver his products to restaurants in Louisville and central Kentucky himself, solving a big problem for small farmers: distribution. As long as Iâve known Patrick, he has been a pragmatic problem solver. Stone Cross sausages, chops, and burgers are delicious. Every January for the past twelve years, Iâve purchased a pig for my churchâs Epiphany celebration. And each year, everyone swears itâs the best one yet.
